Two Wake Forest football players arrested on drug charges | News

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — Wake Forest Football Coach Jim Grobe has suspended two players indefinitely for what he termed a violation of athletics department policy.

Grobe did not reveal the infractions, but Duran Lowe and Devin Bolling, were arrested by the Winston-Salem Police Department on Oct. 9.

Lowe was charged with possession with intent to sell and distribute marijuana, and Bolling was charged with possession of marijuana.

Lowe was a junior safety from Plant City, Fla. and started four games in his career, including his first of this season last Saturday (Oct. 6) at Maryland.

Bolling was a junior offensive tackle from Lynchburg,Va and made his first start in this season’s opening game against Liberty. He was then sidelined with a knee injury, and has not played inWakeForest’s last five games.
